Intro to Copper: Cuffs

This class is a fun introduction to the small metals studio and the fundamental tools found there. Students will learn the basics of torch firing, texturing metal, sawing, hammering, and coloring their work with patinas. You will leave with at least one flat textured bracelet and one curved cuff (more pieces depending on time) and feel comfortable working your way around a small metals studio.
All materials included.

Brynna (Eureka Springs, AR) earned her BFA in Studio Arts from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She has taught art and art therapy classes in Illinois, Louisiana, Africa, and Arkansas. She lives happily tucked away in the woods with her husband, step-daughter, and beloved pets.
