This class introduces blacksmithing and is the perfect opportunity to get oriented to ESSA’s Iron Studio. You will learn the proper way to swing a hammer, safe practices for forging, hammer-work, and various tools. You’ll go home with a bottle opener, meat turner, trivet, and a top set tool.
All materials included.

About Instructors
Dale Custer
Dale (Roland, AR) began blacksmithing 14 years ago. He is a past president of the Blacksmiths Organization of Arkansas (BOA). Dale has always enjoyed introducing others to new skills and techniques. Dale likes to mix fun, knowledge, and blacksmithing work.
