Abstract Florals

In this workshop, you will learn how to loosen up and take an abstract approach to florals and more. We will explore intuitive approaches to our painting by taking a purely experimental attitude and permitting ourselves to play. Spontaneity and letting go of the results can yield some fantastic outcomes. This class is specially created for students who have already taken Julie’s beginning watercolor class, have some experience with another watercolor class, or already have their materials and want to go further.

About Instructors

Julie Hop

Painting & Drawing

Julie Hop (Rogers, AR) earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from Columbia College, Chicago. She has been a muralist and has participated in exhibits in Chicago, New Orleans and Eureka Springs. Julie has designed and implemented art classes for children, teens and adults and has experience as a public school teacher. She is currently Program Coordinator at ESSA.
